Goshen attorney suspended for professional misconduct Created by jzimney on 2/21/2014 5:18:48 PM Pin It
Indiana's Supreme Court has suspended a Goshen attorney for two years for professional misconduct.
Joseph Lehman cannot practice law for two years beginning April 3rd, and is also disallowed to take on any new cases before April.
This action comes after a review five counts of misconduct. There are numerous contempt charges in his history, some involving jail bookings.
Other contributing offenses involved filing fees, improper paperwork practices, failing to respond to a subpoena, and failure to appear at a number of hearings between 2007 and 2013.
Lehman, who has never acknowledged any misconduct, has run for political office at the city and county level without success, and had planned to run for a State Senate seat in 2012 before changing his mind.
