A former car dealership employee has pleaded guilty to embezzlement charges. 52 year-old Shirley Stubalt is accused of stealing $94,000 from the business in just one year.

Stubalt worked as a title clerk at Tyler Honda and officials say she covered up her activity by falsifying records of cash business transactions.

Her charge was ultimately reduced through a plea deal.

The Herald Palladium reports she will have to pay full restitution to the dealership.

She is currently out on bond and will be sentenced Jan. 27th. She faces a maximum 10 years in prison.
